MODEL GETTING: IPHONE 3GS 8GB (If its out by Jan) / IPHONE 3G 8GB

Reason: I only want music and apps, best of all, i found out an app that can link back t my home desktop, basically viewing my whole desktop in my IPHONE (works for windows too!).
Movies? nono. Only apps and abit of music, thats why 8GB is enough. Why not Ipod touch>? I dont ant to have a phone and a entertaining device in my pocket, my pocket is only enough to fit one.
LV offers a casing specially for IPHONE.
It looks very nice on the exterior.
